My name is Jacob Arthur and I’m running for Wake County Board of Education in District 7 because the families of Wake County have been subjected to the fiscal mismanagement and unaccountability of the Wake County School Board for long enough. We see budgets that are not in the best interests of students and fail to adequately support our teachers. I have a better vision for our school system. One in which parents are encouraged to be involved in all levels of their children’s education. Where yearly budgets maximize student achievement with every penny spent. A system where teachers are supported in their mission to provide the highest quality education in the nation. A school system that is safe for our students, teachers, and administration. Together, we can once again be a public school system that is the envy of a nation.
